I am the Head Coach for the Collinsville Junior High Softball Team and High School Track Coach. I also teach Algebra at Collinsville High School.
I have been playing softball for over 20 years. I played with the Owasso Stars/Tulsa Elite softball team, winning the 2012 16U ASA Nationals in Montgomery, AL and placed 5th in the 2013 18U ASA Nationals in Clearwater, FL.
I played softball in high school as a 4-year starter for the Collinsville Cardinals, helping my team reach the state tournament as a freshman and a senior. During my senior year, I was named Conference Player of the Year and earned All-Conference and All-State honors.
I was awarded a softball scholarship to Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma City and played in the starting line-up all four years. Honors during my time in college include CoSIDA Academic All-American, GAC All-Academic Team honors, GAC Player of the Week and earned high ranks throughout my college career in the Great American Conference in runs scored, home runs, total bases, stolen bases and batting average.
I wasn’t the greatest athlete when I was a kid and early teenager. I was overlooked by almost every coach. But that only made me work harder. What I lacked in natural ability and talent, I made up for it in hours practicing, working out and outsmarting my competitors.
I believe every player can achieve their goals if they believe in and push themselves to work hard. That is why I am dedicated to helping young players achieve success. I see the potential in every child and I love seeing them overcome the obstacles sports can bring.
My goal is to help players see the potential in themselves, teach them how to work for their goals and develop life skills they will use both on the field and in their future hopes and dreams!
