The three things I hold most dear in life are God, Family, and Baseball! I am married to my amazing wife, Erin and have 3 young kids Larkin, Emberlynn, and Arlo (arriving Aug ‘22). We also have two dogs Reya & Finn. Spending time with my kids is my greatest hobby. I am a teacher and High School Baseball Coach at Rejoice Christian School!
I started playing baseball when I was 2 years old. My favorite thing to do was hit home runs off my dad in the back yard. That is where baseball became my favorite sport and I was blessed with the opportunity to play all the way through college.
In high school, I was a pitcher and first baseman at Collinsville. I was a part of the 2010 State Team! Winning that ring with my brothers on the ballfield is one of my greatest memories.
After HS, I pitched on scholarship for Oklahoma Baptist University. As a lefty, I was known for dotting the corners and keeping hitters off their timing and mixing pitches efficiently!
After college I had the unique privilege to use my gift of baseball to take the gospel around the globe. I have gotten to play or coach baseball in several countries across 4 different continents combining my passions of Jesus and Baseball!
The great game of baseball teaches more than just what we can use on the playing field. It teaches us about life, overcoming failure and obstacles, being a good teammate and so much more! My goal as a coach is to teach athletes how to play the game well and help guide them to success. But even more importantly, my goal is exemplify what it looks like to be a good Son, Father, Brother, Teammate, and Christ-Follower!
